How do I get something in the 'Bentwater Life', and who controls the review process?

The focus of the "Bentwater Life" is to inform Bentwater property owners of the business of the Bentwater Property Owners Association (BPOA) and community activities. It is not designed to publicize events or activities generally available in the local media. Articles for the magazine may be submitted by the BPOA Board of Trustees, the BPOA Advisory Board, the Management Agent, Bentwater clubs and organizations, and residents.

Articles should be written in a positive style and not be demeaning or divisive. They should be factual and not mere expressions of opinion. Articles must be submitted six weeks in advance of the of the month in which the article will appear. Articles should be submitted in MS Word format with or without pictures and/or graphics to the BPOA General Manager at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  Authors must include their name, telephone number, and email address with all articles submitted and be available by phone or email from the 15th to the 20th of the month to enable the editors to easily communicate any changes or queries.
The Board of Trustees has assigned responsibility for soliciting, producing, reviewing, and editing the content of the "Bentwater Life" to the Association General Manager.

What guidelines should I be following if I want to contribute an article to the 'Bentwater Life"?

Where can I submit a charity event with which I am involved? 

A charity event for the benefit of an organization qualified under IRS 501-(c)3 or like status can be submitted by a Bentwater resident by sending an email with the event’s name, date, time, location, cost, and Bentwater contact to This email address is being protected from spambots. Event information must be received no later than six weeks in advance of the month in which the notice is to appear. Events will be published only one time. The decision of the editors to include or not to include the event is final.
